Cheat Day is often related to the day of the week when you move away from your strict diet plan. The day when you eat extra carbs, your favourite delicacies, and do everything which isn’t deemed “healthy”.
But at Prinkit.in, Cheat Day is deemed healthy, for your mental health. The day where you have absolute freedom to break from the routine work and celebrate the moments with people around you. Let’s take a dive into the deep ocean of Prinkit.in’s Cheat Day!
Early morning birds
The typical winter day started early with our Prinksters getting party-ready and making all the arrangements for the entire day. The decorations, speakers, food and everything else, the team gave it all! Ribbons, balloons, flags, and happiness flying around the office made it all the more blissful.
Pledge and Flag off
As everyone arrived, the first task of the day was to gather for the Prinkit.in pledge and flag off for the Cheat Day. We had a ceremony for the same wherein our Prinkster, Chinmay Shah took charge of the pledge and Ishita flagged off the event with utmost excitement!
Khel khel mein (Game time)
Games are a great way to build a long-lasting camaraderie with the team. Well, there has to be a neutral member to conduct the games and let others get competitive. For us, it was Anirudh Sarkar, who organized and conducted all the indoor as well as outdoor games throughout the day. There were a lot of exciting games that we played. We had indoor games like Carrom, Ball-dart, Foosball and Ball throw, while also having a couple of terrace-games like Lemon and spoon race and Dog and the bone. All the games were engaging and fun for the team!
Potluck
Food is an integral part of human life. It gains even more importance when shared with your loved ones. At Prinkit.in, we celebrate diversity and food is a part of cultural diversity. On Cheat Day, we decided to have a potluck where everyone brought food and shared love with mouth-watering delicacies. We had Pani-puri, Ice-cream, Pav-Bhaji and more to make our cheat day memorable.
Entertainment burst
Cheat Day and Entertainment should go hand in hand, and to carry forward the Prinkit.in tradition, we had a blast with our dance session! Bollywood, Indie and Nostalgia, every song made us groove to the beats endlessly. We being movie buffs, also watched an Urban Gujarati movie called Reva in the afternoon and relaxed for a while.
Award ceremony
Hardwork should be rewarded. So, after the long evening and gaming sessions, we had an award ceremony for all our winners in different games. We also had a special one year employee anniversary celebration for Dharti. There was a cake cutting and photography session to end the extravaganza.
The entire day was one to cherish, one to remember for the rest of our lives. The entire team of Prinkit.in is a family and we all take pride in calling ourselves Prinksters. Until the next Cheat Day, signing off!
