Some people come into your lives and fill it with fun and laughter, without you noticing. One such character is fortunately a part of the Prinkit.in family, Arindam Chakraborty a.k.a Dumpy. Let us dive deep into the internship journey of Arindam.

Background

Arindam started his journey as a Science student during high school. But following his boards, he realized his passion in the creative field of cinema. He decided to switch his field and joined Jaipur National University for B.sc in Animation. Arindam then went on to pursue M.A in Film and Media specializing in Cinematography. He graduated from ACFM, Hyderabad in 2015 and then worked as a freelance cinematographer in Bombay for the next 5 years. Arindam has worked as a cinematographer in major projects like Global Citizen Concert (Mumbai) and Housefull 4.

Starting his journey with Prinkit.in

Just before the lockdown in March 2020, Arindam came to Vadodara where his parents reside. He decided to stay here for a while and then had to stay here due to the travel ban. As the restrictions were lifted, Arindam thought of applying for a job in Vadodara itself. He then came across a Facebook ad by Prinkit.in and he applied for the Content creator profile in the company. Arindam was called for an interview at the office, wherein he was initially offered an internship due to his lack of experience as a content creator. He accepted the offer and joined Prinkit.in as a content intern. And this is how his journey as a Prinkster began!

Learnings from the internship

Arindam says, “As I was a fresher in the field of content creation and digital marketing, I had a lot to learn and explore. I was given a proper induction in the company and its systems within the first few days. Learning about writing copies for client advertisements and understanding their requirements was one of my initial works. I also explored website content and writing Quora articles. Since it was the first time I was working in a corporate environment, I got to know more about the importance of communication and a positive work environment in the company.”

In the words of Arindam, “From Day 1 of my internship, there was a progressive role of Prinkit bhai during the entire internship journey. I had a preconceived notion that he would behave like a boss and give us orders, but he turned out to be completely opposite. He always made sure that we gained thorough insights into subjects and that we learn as much as we can. Prinkit bhai taught us a lot of concepts related to content creation and digital marketing. He is definitely a work-driven person and genuinely believes in hard work. He has taken initiatives for the company and the people involved, which is surely noteworthy. Be it Cheat Day, Performer of the month, social work, and much more, he always finds ways to motivate people. I can surely say that he is one of the best leaders I have come across.“

Overall experience and note to readers

Prinkit.in has definitely helped me have a fresh outlook on work and life. The people that I have met, the experiences that I have shared are surely some of the best parts of my journey. I have been very active due to the internship and my parents are happy for me! I like the way all of us have lunch together, it’s a unique experience. This is probably the best part *wink wink*.
